SUMMARY:September 2023 Drive-Thru Clinic
DESCRIPTION:From March-November\, we offer low-cost drive-thru vaccine services on the first Saturday of the month at our Pet Resource Center (with the exception of July and September due to holiday). All drive-thru clinics are open to everyone – first come\, first served and no appointment required. We are only able to see 100 pets total per clinic. Cash\, credit or check accepted and must arrive in vehicle to participate. \nServices and Pricing:\n– Distemper/Parvo | Dog: $20\n– Distemper | Cat: $20\n– Rabies: $20\n– Microchip: $15\n– Flea Treatment: $10 per dose \nAs these events are extremely busy with a limited window of time\, we can only provide same day proof/records for pet families needing rabies certification. For all other treatments\, a full summary can be provided by request 7-10 days after the event. We just ask for your patience as all data from these events is manually entered by a small team of volunteers and staff. When requesting records\, please contact (618) 687-8007\, ext. 1 and leave a message. We will get back to you within 24-48 hours. \nPhotographs and/or video will be taken at all events. SUMMARY:15th Annual Ron Ortyl Memorial Golf Tournament
DESCRIPTION:Please join us on September 25th for the 15th Annual Ron Ortyl Memorial Golf Tournament at Norwood Hills Country Club! \nThis tournament was initiated in 2008\, a year after Ron passed away\, as a way to honor\, remember\, and thank him for his incredible generosity to others. He loved golf and was a life-long member at Norwood so the location is meaningful – plus it offers two courses which we fortunately need to accommodate all the teams. \nRon also loved animals\, especially dogs. This year\, as well as several previous\, Gateway Pet Guardians (GPG) will be the recipient of the funds raised. \nThis year’s golf tournament will raise funds for GPG’s work including animal rescue\, medical treatments\, pet owner education and resources like a pet food pantry\, and a low-cost veterinary clinic to serve pets and their people in Metro East St. Louis. \nTo register or contact the event organizer go to https://gatewaypets.org/wp-content/uploads/2023/08/2023-15th-Annual-Ron-Ortyl-Memorial-Golf-Tournament.pdf \nPrizes: \nA player from both the East and West course will go home with 5K. Metro East Industries donates 20K to the tournament – a 10K prize for each of the two holes selected – with 5K given to the closest to the hole winner and 5K donated to GPG in that player’s name. \nA 200k hole-in-one opportunity on both courses which adds a lot of excitement and anticipation the day of the event.
