Hopefully everyone had a lovely weekend and had a chance to enjoy the beautiful weather. He is our Monday Adoptable Dog and he’s says Happy Monday! Chevy Chase is a medium-sized adult Hound Mix. He is already neutered and is up-to-date with his shots. He was on the GPG feeding route and volunteers rescued him about a month ago. Chevy Chase is currently residing at the shelter and is anxiously awaiting for his forever or foster home!

This boy has a smile that just lights up the room! Chevy Chase is friendly as he is great with other dogs and loves people. He loves the attention he gets from people and adores being pet! He’s also nonreactive to cats. Chevy Chase is energetic and just loves to play whenever he can! He has not shown too much interest in toys yet, but we’re sure that the right toy for him is out there.
He enjoys treats very much and this will be a good motivator to use during training. Chevy Chase is working on becoming house-trained and so far he seems to be a quick learner. He learned the sit and come commands in a short period of time.
As you can see, Chevy Chase loves a good snuggle and to get comfortable with his pillows and blankets.
