Unicorn Foster Squad Program

A Unicorn foster is someone that has the perfect home set up to take an animal that may be harder to place in the standard home. You may have no kids, pets, or people over often. You will be helping to save what many often call ‘the unsavable’. Unicorn Fosters are an extremely important piece in helping save lives and we could not do this without you!

Gateway Pet Guardians provides extra perks and incentives to fosters that step up to be Unicorn Fosters. We have a private Facebook group to provide specialized support, offer private in-home lessons with an approved trainer, and free doggie daycare at the shelter. You will also get a special t-shirt, free photoshoot, and the love and gratitude from GPG staff and volunteers for taking those that are harder to place! To join the Unicorn Foster Program, complete the Foster Application below and indicate your interest.
