Happy Monday! Let’s start off the week by introducing you to Hana, also known as Nixie. She is currently in a foster home, but she is looking her fur-ever home! Hana is a Boxer/Terrier mix and she is just as cute as can be! She has a beautiful brown brindle coat and has the coolest white tuxedo chest. Although Hana has a beautiful coat, her most stunning feature is her smile!
Hana is spayed and is up-to-date on her shots. She is also house-trained and crate-trained. However, she’s such a good girl that her foster family doesn’t need to crate her anymore! She gets along great with her foster family’s dogs. She hasn’t met any cats yet. She also hasn’t been around smaller children; the youngest person she has been around was a teenager. Hana is shy and very gentle. She would do best in a home where she is included in outings and car rides. This will continue her socialization and help her come out of her shell.
This sweet girl with the beautiful eyes is very easy to love. Hana enjoys snuggling with her Foster Mom and her favorite place to hang out is on her Foster Dad’s lap. She still thinks that she is a lap dog, but she surpassed that status a few pounds ago! While it may be funny to see, it’s also really touching because she just wants to be close to her people. Hana is one of the few foster dogs who have slept in her foster parents’ bed and she loves it! She gets to spend all night right next to her people. Plus, it’s so soft and comfortable!
Hana thinks toys, especially tennis balls, are the greatest things in the world! She spends hours playing with them! She knows how to entertain herself and it’s pretty enjoyable to watch her have such a fun time. She is very smart and knows the commands sit, lay down, and off. She’ll make you smile when she responds to the words paw or kisses! Hana listens very well and pays attention when her foster parents speak to her. She loves being outside, enjoys going for walks with her Foster Dad, and walks nicely on a leash. She also likes going for car rides and behaves nicely in a car.
Hana looks forward to snuggle sessions with her forever family and she hopes they find her soon!
