This Monday we want to introduce everyone to Shasta, who also goes by Ella. This sweet girl is a Boxer Mix. She has such a soft and beautiful brindle coat! She is up-to-date with her shots and is already spayed.
Ella can be a little unsure of strangers upon first meeting, but she warms up very quickly. She is such an affectionate and loving dog! She loves people and children. In her last home, she absolutely adored her owner’s five-year-old son. Ella loves to be near people so she can cuddle up right next to them or having her belly rubbed. She would be great in a home where she is the only dog because Ella is very protective of her people.
This smart girl is mostly house-trained and fully crate-trained. In fact, she loves her crate! She enjoys eating and sleeping in it. All you have to do is say “house” and she will go right into her crate! She also knows other commands such as “sit”, “come”, “off”, “be nice”, “let it go”, and more! Ella walks well on a leash but also knows how to stay near the house or go straight to the car without a leash. She behaves really well in a car!
Doesn’t Ella just look so laid-back?! She is non-destructive and settles well. She can entertain herself just fine but also loves to play too. Some of her favorite games are catch and tug-of-war. She also enjoys walks, car rides, and swimming.
