The Pet Food Pantry was curbside for the month of June, and we were so happy to see so many familiar faces! Volunteers practiced social distancing and wore masks, delivering food directly to each family’s trunk.
We distributed 818 pounds of dog food, 96 pounds of cat food, and 224 pounds of litter. Each dog also received some milkbones. Thanks to a special donation from Greater Good, we were also able to hand out flea/tick preventatives to 36 pets and 18 of these cool bowl toss toys. The fleas are already in full force, so families were really excited to receive the donated topical meds and collars!
It feels so good to have a fully stocked pantry! Thank you to all the volunteers that make this possible–transporting donations, sorting and stocking donations, mixing and bagging, and distributing!
