Foster Spotlight - Janelle and ToreThis week our foster spotlight is on Janelle and Tore! These two big-hearted people came to know about GPG through adopting one of the Sneaker pups, Brooks, about a year ago! Since fostering with GPG, they have had two fosters. Janelle says that they choose to foster puppies because one of their dogs is a wee bit uncomfortable with other adult dogs in their home. Plus, Janelle says that puppies are always so much fun to have around!

Their most memorable part of their fostering journey so far was when they picked up their first two puppies, Momo and Iroh. They had a tendency to use her lap as a puppy pad… when ya gotta go, ya gotta go!!! Janelle thinks this is an omen of some sort, but is still trying to figure out what it means.

When they aren’t cleaning up after their silly foster puppies, Janelle and Tore can be found at Xtreme Paintball Park in Millstadt, IL. They are the proud owners of this amazingly fun business! They also love to play sand volleyball in the summer and spend much of their time with their two dogs, Fannie and Alester (formerly Brooks). Fannie was rescued by Tore’s sister and is the alpha dog. And, Alester is a total lovebug!

Janelle and Tore’s best advice to a new foster is to not be afraid to seek advice. They feel that GPG is a great, supportive group that is always willing to help. So, one should definitely utilize it as a resource! Thank you, Janelle and Tore for adopting Alester! Not only did you two give him a great home, you also shared your love with other homeless pets by fostering! We are so thankful for your support at GPG!
