Friday’s Foster Dog: Meet Chukchi, an adoptable dog in St. Louis! Chukchi is just the sweetest. He has a perfect face and the most infectious smile. At just 12 weeks old, he’s still working on crate and house training, but has already mastered the art of cuteness. This little one is learning fast. He’s already learning to sit and has begun to go to the backdoor when he’s ready to go outside. Chukchi is an extremely intelligent and gentle boy who is just looking for his forever home.
Chukchi is a Terrier/Boxer mix and will most likely grow to be a medium sized guy somewhere around 60 lbs – typical size for both breeds. He’s up to date with his shots and already neutered. He’s a gentle and compassionate soul who is doing everything in his power to be the best boy a puppy could be in hopes of finding that special family who will love him as much as he loves them.
Like most puppies he loves to play with his toys and enjoys the company of other dogs as well. He’s become very affectionate to his foster family and is even learning the joys of snuggling with his foster mom. Chukchi is looking for a loving, affectionate, and active family who can dedicate themselves to helping him grow. He needs someone who can dedicate a good portion of their time to helping him reach his full potential. As usual, he also needs someone with patience to help correct him in a compassionate way until he completely learns the ins and outs of how to be a good boy.
At such a young age, Chukchi is the perfect companion and a guy with an extremely bright future. He learns quick. loves to discover new things, and is an observant boy. Any family would be lucky to live in the same home as this loving little sweetheart.
