Meet Tanna! An adoptable dog in St. Louis. Tanna is a sweet and lovable brindle-color Terrier. She loves being around people, especially her foster parents, and her rambunctious personality makes her the perfect addition to any family.
This medium-framed girl, has reached her potential size but is still full of some of that puppy energy. She loves to play with other dogs, going to the dog park, playing fetch with her favorite toys, and has even begun to bring them back! She’s an amazingly smart girl and has a lot of fun learning new tricks and commands. Beware this sweetie is a snuggler! She enjoys cuddling with her foster family and is looking for a forever family to snuggle with as well.
A fast-learner, she has already learned several commands including stay, wait, and lay down. She loves going for a walk and is working on walking on a leash. She’s crate-trained and house-trained, and even though she loves sleeping on her foster parents’ bed she will sleep in her crate when asked to. Tanna is a good girl and a great listener and will do what is asked of her. She loves riding in cars and is a great passenger who behaves well in the car.
Tanna would do well in an active family with older children. While this little angel has the sweetest temperament you could ever find, her pure energy and size may pose a danger to smaller children. Cats are also a question mark for Tanna since she has yet to encounter one. Due to her abundance of energy, a home with a fenced-in backyard is recommended. She’s a very active girl so regular exercise, including daily walks are highly recommended.
