Boeh was seen running on a busy road in Washington Park by two of our volunteers while they were out doing community outreach. They knocked on doors and spoke to neighbors, but nobody seemed to recognize him which was hard to believe as he was such a beauty. Our volunteers filled out the St. Clair County Lost/Found Pet Form which goes to multiple organizations in the area, including St Clair County Animal Control (SCCAC) so we can better communicate lost and found pets to help them get back home. Boeh’s owner, James was worried sick about him and called SCCAC in hopes he had been picked up. They were able to match his description of his lost dog with the form regarding the dog we found. James provided proof of ownership and now this big handsome lug is back home where he belongs!
Boeh was microchipped and received a pet tag with his dad’s number before leaving our shelter too!
