Last summer, Mama Gemini and her four puppies were rescued from Animal Control by GPG. After nursing her pups, Gemini went into a foster home where she could relax and work on her initial shyness.
After a few months in foster, she was officially adopted in early December of 2015. Gemini, now named Josie, is adored by her new family.
This is what they had to say about their new girl:
“To say Josie has brought us nothing but joy is an understatement. We feel so special that we can call her ours. Josie was a shy girl at first. But that is no longer the case! She greets everyone at the door with a crazy, wagging tail and a big kiss. We have to stop on our walks (which she loves) so she can greet everyone we pass by. Josie also loves car rides and sits in the backseat like a human. She loves to bark and “scare” the cat next door but will also lay by the cat cage at PetSmart crying to be with them. Josie is such a sweet, loving girl. She could spend all day cuddling her humans and loves to lie in the kitchen while I cook. She is such a loyal pup. I could go on and on about how special she is. Many thanks to her foster Katie and GPG for letting us be the fortunate owners of our beloved Josie.”
