Meet Tali, an adoptable dog in St. Louis! Tali is a gorgeous American Staffordshire Terrier Mix looking for her forever home. This sweet girl is ready to share her huge smile and wet doggie kisses with a loving family!
Tali was well known on the streets and when she was finally rescued she had a neck wound from an embedded collar. Now Tali is doing much better and she loves to give and receive lots of love, attention, and snuggles. At about 40 or 45 lbs, Tali isn’t really aware of her strength and she plays hard, so she would do better in a home without small children. She would also prefer to be an only dog in her forever family as she likes to keep all the attention on her. If there is another dog, she prefers males, and needs a good introduction to warm up.
Tali loves to play with her toys, especially those that squeak and make funny noises, and a good bone will do too. She still has a hard time when she is left alone, but she is learning. While she is crate trained, she is not a big fan of it and would prefer her human friends to stick around.
This is one smart girl who listens well and knows several different commands. She is also a good girl on the leash and a quiet passenger in the car. It’s hard not to admit that she’s pretty cute when she tries to make herself into a little lap dog and when she wakes herself up to her own snores!
