This reflection of perfection is named Mama Lucy!
As you may have guessed by the name, she was rescued as a very pregnant mama and gave birth to three health, happy pups who have now been adopted. It’s now time for Mama to find her forever home! Lucy is a purebred Doberman Pinscher who is approximately three years old.
Lucy is both house trained and crate trained. She loves her kennel and uses it as a den. Although she is crate trained, she is not destructive when left out of her kennel. Lucy is great with adults, children, and other dogs. Her foster mom is pretty sure that she could make friends with anything!
She has a low energy level and loves to lounge around the house. Lucy is the perfect dog according to her foster mom. She’s a bit shy when first meeting new people, but she warms up extremely quickly. Once you start scratching behind her ears, you are not allowed to stop.
Although she’s very mellow, Lucy enjoys playing in the yard and going to dog parks. She would do best in a home with another dog to help show her the ropes, but would be fine as an only dog. The most important thing is that she has someone who will cuddle and scratch her!
