Pets bring so much joy to our lives, and we truly love meeting families that radiate this joy. When we met Angel and her mom, we instantly fell in love. Every morning, her mom tells Angel she is beautiful, and she is smart, and she is loved before she wakes up for the day.
A few weeks ago, we received a heartbreaking call from Angel’s mom needing help. Due to a personal situation resulting in a quick move, she had to rehome her beloved pet.
We had worked with Angel for months, first providing emergency veterinary treatment for mastitis as a result of having an accidental litter, then providing services through our Spay/Neuter Program. We loved visiting Angel and her mom, and were devastated to learn about this turn of events. We picked up Angel and brought her into our care, because that’s what her mom needed at the time.
Yesterday, Angel’s mom called with some exciting news. She had made arrangements to bring her home! Angel hadn’t been adopted yet, so we jumped at the opportunity to return her to her family she has loved her entire life. Angel was SO excited to see her and her mom was SO happy to get her back! Their reunion was beautiful, full of wiggles and kisses.
