Despite our shelter being closed, we are still in the business of helping pets and the people who love them–especially in times of crisis. We received a call from Aunt Mary’s mom concerned about her face. After being attacked by a dog, her face was extremely swollen and she was in a lot of pain. We knew she needed help, so we sent her to a full service vet partner who sedated her to clean her wounds, ran diagnostics and treated her for pain and infection.
Please keep Aunt Mary in your thoughts through recovery, and consider donating to our East Side Pet Crisis Fund to allow us to continue helping pets in this time of uncertainty.
