This past weekend, we met this gorgeous pup named King. His dad was worried because he had an open wound on his neck that showed signs of infection. We were able to help King and his family thanks to our East Side Pet Crisis Fund. King was able to visit the vet, get cleaned up, and received antibiotics to fight off the infection. We also fitted him with a special harness that wouldn’t bother his wound. And later that evening, we returned King back to his family, where they welcomed him home with open arms and lots of hugs.

Our East Side Pet Crisis Fund helps keep families whole. The fund is reserved for helping low-income pet parents in the Metro East who need access to emergency veterinary services for their pets. Many of the residents we aid with this fund have nowhere else to turn. But we can only help when funds are available. With your help, we can make a difference by keeping pets with their loving owners and out of area shelters. Donate today!
