Meet Piccolo, an adoptable dog in St Louis and one of Gateway Pet Guardias’ sweetest girls. With beautiful pink ears and a bright smile, she’s always ready for a day of fun. Whether it’s a nice, long walk or run with her foster mom, or an intense game of tug-o-war, she’s the ultimate companion for the active spirit. When at home, this little cutie can be found enjoying a friendly game of keep away with her foster family and favorite tennis ball or simply entertaining herself running around the yard. Like most young dogs, she’s a playful soul but knows when to be good and is never rough.
Behind all the brawn also lies one of the smartest girls you’ll ever want to meet. This petite 42 lbs darling is house trained and crate trained. Even though she’s already mastered ‘sit’, ‘down’, ‘crate’, and ‘paw’, she’s always ready to take on new challenges including learning new tricks.
As if all these attributes weren’t enough, this angelic sweetie is a skilled snuggler. On special occasions she shows off her snuggling abilities cuddling up in bed with her foster mom. This remarkable girl is extremely playful, good-natured, and interacts well with humans and dogs alike. Younger children can spook her a bit; therefore, she prefers the company of older children.
Ideally, Piccolo would like to spend the rest of her life with an active family with at least one other dog to serve as companion and playmate. Change can be a bit difficult for her; therefore, she would prosper in a calm and patient environment; at least until she becomes more comfortable and acclimated to her new home. Shy and reserved, this baby girl is well-worth the effort and a real blessing to any home.
