On April 8, Gateway Pet Guardians participated in Nestlé Purina’s annual Building Better Pet Communities event, which acts as a fundraiser for our organization, as well as several other St. Louis-area shelters. Purina associates can purchase blue jeans badges and bid in a silent auction to raise money for us and the two other shelters – Humane Society of Missouri and APA of St. Louis. The event also showcases to Purina associates the many ways in which the company supports pet welfare efforts in the St. Louis area and nationwide. Purina is a great supporter of Gateway Pet Guardians, and we appreciate the love!
