Last week, ten-year-old Yorkshire Terrier, Angel was found as a stray a block from her home and was brought to St. Clair County Animal Control (SCCAC) by a resident of Washington Park, IL. Gateway Pet Guardians (GPG) pulled her from SCCAC, completed all of her vaccines and issued her a microchip. That same day, a resident named Skyla came to our vet clinic and described her 10-year-old Yorkie, Angel, who was missing. Sure enough, the stray we pulled from SCCAC turned out to be Skyla’s Angel! Skyla and her husband were so thrilled to have Angel back. They reported that she’s a daddy’s girl and she sleeps in bed with them every night.
