March has been a busy month for the Gateway Pet Guardians Community Outreach team, making 53 stops and delivering pet supplies and educating residents about our resources along the way. The graphic on this page highlights the supplies that were delivered throughout the month.

Volunteer Jane Posen comments about one of her favorite stops in the month of March. “We had a supply delivery to the family of Shay, a shih tzu puppy. We met Shay a few weeks ago, and in just two weeks, Shay and her brother Deuce had already been fixed through our Spay/Neuter Program. When we stopped by, she was still wearing her cone from her spay surgery! We helped the family re-adjust the cone and collar and gave them two tie-outs and a harness. We also provided training advice to the family, who are concerned about Deuce’s fearfulness around new people.”

We are proud to help families by providing the resources and supplies needed to care for their pets. But because we were so busy this month, we have almost completely run out of supplies!
