Meet Beckett, an adoptable dog in St. Louis! If you’re looking for a special valentine this Valentine’s Day, Beckett is your man! At just two years old, Beckett is sweet, goofy, and a total charmer. He’s a Labrador Retriever mix who loves to snuggle close to those he loves. His foster mom says he can never get close enough, but still loves to try. He’s 75 lbs of pure, solid, unconditional love and he’s looking for you!
When he’s not cuddling or charming the pants off his admirers, Beckett can be found enjoying his time with his family. He loves going for long walks and taking a leisurely spin around town in the car. As expected, this handsome boy is great at both! He’s an optimistic little cutie who enjoys learning and seeing new things as well. He already knows the word ‘sit’ and is currently working on ‘down’ and ‘wait’. The possibilities with Beckett are endless. With the right pet parent – someone who is willing to devote the kind of patience and time – there isn’t much this little guy couldn’t learn to do.
Beckett is house-trained, crate-trained, neutered, and up to date with shots. He’s not good with kids, but does really well with cats and other dogs. He would do best with someone who either doesn’t have kids or perhaps has older children. Because of his age, he would do best with someone who is fairly active and can keep him social and provide plenty of play time. A large fenced in back yard would be ideal or at least with an active family who will take the time to get him out of the house for exercise on a daily basis.
