Hi my name is Ivory! I love Taylor Swift and its not just because we have the same beautiful blonde locks! Her song “Shake it Off” motivates me to become the best dog I can be so I can get adopted! Like my song says, I lived on the streets for many years without human contact. So I admit I have struggled with adjusting to living in a home. I’m just not used to having people around me who want to love and snuggle. But I am trying. So I am hoping my song will reach a family who is willing to be very patient with me as I adjust to the good life.
The good news is that I am a pretty darn good dog! I am house and crate-trained, I know my name and even know how to sit! I love treats and can even catch them in the air! Oh, I also love other dogs! They are so much fun to play with and be around. So I think I would do best in a home with another dog. My canine buddy could help me learn to live and play in a home while teaching me to trust. Since I’m still shy and skittish, I would do best in a home without small children. I don’t think I am ready for all that energy! Are you my perfect family?
