Monday’s Shelter Dog is Marley! His official name is Laguna but he goes by Marley. He’s an incredibly adorable Labrador Retriever Mix who is approximately 9 months & 3 weeks old. He’s very playful, full of sweetness and has the most kissable face! He’s staying at our Shelter, playing & snuggling with our Shelter Staff, while he waits for a foster home or forever home.
Marley appears house trained and is working on crate training although he’s not a big fan of the crate. This friendly guy with the big smile gets along great with dogs of all sizes, is a good boy with children and hasn’t been around cats yet.
Marley is sweet & affectionate, enjoys snuggling and just loves to give kisses to both humans & canines! He likes being close to his favorite people and you can steal his heart by giving him ear rubs, his very favorite thing! He enjoys them so much he groans when they’re being rubbed – it’s so cute!
Marley is full of energy and very playful. He loves running around out back and could play outside all day! His favorite toy is a soft soccer ball and he has the time of his life playing with other dogs, chasing them or sharing his soccer ball with them.
When playtime is over, Marley likes to relax with Milk-Bones or rawhides. He knows the commands sit, shake, lay down, lay in your bed and he comes when called.
He loves going for walks, walks nicely on a leash and enjoys going for rides. He’s visited a few houses that had dogs and behaved very well & had a very nice time!
This goofy boy has one of the biggest, happiest smiles we’ve ever seen! Marley’s always making people laugh with his sweet silliness, especially when he looks at them with one of his ears standing straight up! He will definitely cause smiles wherever he goes!
