Saint Louis, MO, March 5, 2010 – Gateway Pet Guardians’ second annual Pasta for Pets event will raise money toward the construction of a much-needed animal shelter in the St. Louis area. Eat at The Pasta House Co. in Fairview Heights any time Thursday, April 15, and a portion of the cost of your meal will go to Gateway Pet Guardians to benefit homeless animals.

In addition, The Pasta House Co. will host a cocktail party and auction for Gateway Pet Guardians from 6:00-9:00 p.m. There will be a silent and a live auction, featuring items including gift certificates to restaurants and other local businesses, free hotel stays, tickets to sporting events, and much more. An appetizer buffet is available for $5.00 and regular menu items will also be available. The event will feature a cash bar, and a disc jockey to entertain attendees. Gateway Pet Guardians and The Pasta House Co. raised $6,000 last year and hope to hit $10,000 at the 2010 event.

As an added bonus, Kim Tucci, the owner of the St. Louis based Pasta House Co., will be sharing a recipe on Show-Me St. Louis along with Gateway Pet Guardians’ Vice President Jamie Case to promote the event on April 14th.
