This is our second year participating in the President’s Volunteer Service Awards, which honors our most outstanding volunteers and recognizes the impact they make. We celebrated this pawsome achievement earlier this month with an awards ceremony at our Pet Resource Center. This high honor sponsored by AmeriCorps and Points of Light was presented to 𝟑𝟐 of our volunteers who completed 100+ hours of impactful work in a single year. In the three levels, we had 4 volunteers qualify for gold (500+ hours), 10 volunteers for silver (250-499) and 18 volunteers for bronze (100-249 hours). Thank you to all of our amazing volunteers (over 249 active volunteers in 2022!) who dedicate their time and talents year after year to support our mission of keeping pets and people together.
