Saint Louis, May 2, 2012 – Gateway Pet Guardians, a local nonprofit animal rescue focused in the Metro East, is holding its third annual Tees & Tails Golf Tournament on Friday, June 1, 2012 at Gateway National Golf Links in Madison, Illinois. The tournament proceeds will be allocated toward the renovation of Gateway’s recently purchased property in Centreville, IL into an emergency animal shelter and education center.
Chaired by Y98’s Courtney Landrum, the golf scramble promises to be the most exciting event yet with two $5,000 contests in addition to flights and a cash grand prize for the winner. Registration is $110 per individual and includes entry into the tournament, lunch, drinks, dinner and admission to the after-party featuring live music from RadioStar.
“This will be the third year we’ve held the tournament, and it tends to grow a little more each time,” stated Gateway Pet Guardians Executive Director Jamie Case. “With each event we have, we get a little closer to our $300,000 goal to break ground on the shelter.”
The event is sponsored by Gateway National Golf Links, Metro East Industries, CEDC Civil Engineering and Miniature Market. Varying sponsorship levels are still available for $50, $100, $200, and $500. Sponsorships are limited and sold on a first come basis.
